business, and more.
The Solve the Entrepreneur TM network is a consortium of entrepreneurs working together to assist each other to succeed; and in the process increase their own success as well.
“You will get all you want in life if you help enough other
people get what they want.” Self Investment Company was founded in 1985 by Sumner Davenport as a source for entrepreneurs who were investing in their dreams. In 1990, Self-Investment began it's new life and journey as a LLC, attracting members of various professions to provide services to entrepreneurs and start up businesses. As many entrepreneurs enter the new arena with the experience and knowledge of an employee, we found a niche to educate and assist. We began working together with new entrepreneurs when they needed a business plan in order to launch their businesses and/or take it to the next level of success and profit. Regularly, the members team of Self Investment Company grows as it includes other independent business professionals who provide products and services to encourage and assist individuals to invest in themselves, their health, their dreams and aspirations, their spiritual growth, their career and business, and more. Some of the services, products, unique and creative ideas provided through Life Enrichment, LLC and Solve the Entrepreneur Puzzle network members and associates which assist businesses to meet their goals, include:

Comments on workshops, seminars and professional development luncheon speakers: Anne Aldrich, ABA Communications LLC - If you missed Anne's presentation then you missed some valuable concrete tips that could make or break your business when it comes to your PR. From her extensive experience and success in public relations, she presented specific examples of good and bad PR and the impact it had on the press, the audience and the business involved. Some of these were eye openers for several attendees at this meeting, as many notes were taken. Dianne Satterlee - Diane brought her expertise in graphic design into her presentation as she showed examples of what works on a website and what will cause your website to be difficult for visitors to read or understand which could cause them to not want to return. She stressed the importance of placing text in columns instead of long sentences across the entire page; making text size and page background colors easy for all ages to read; and to make sure your graphics and photos are properly designed for the internet so they downoad fast without slowing down the rest of your webpage information. Shawn & Linda McCarthy - They have focused all their energies on how to separate yourself from the crowd and let people see how unique you and your business are. They shared the tools they have learned and used in networking to build their business success. One tool they explained was the importance of using the business card you receive as a notepad to place notes to remind you who that person was and why you needed to get back in contact with them. These same tools could be immediately be put to use by anyone in their daily business. They stressed the importance of sending thank you notes after meeting someone. Linda Hollander - The Wealthy Bag Lady - Linda is an amazing speaker, presenting specific facts, ideas and solutions from her own experience; having taken herself from barely being able to pay her bills, to being a wealthy success in the imprinted bag business and the founder and sponsor of the annual Women's Small Business Expo in Los Angeles. Cathy Hart, Southern California Edison local Public Affairs Region Manager - Cathy's presentation covered a lot of important areas. We were educated on Edison's community involvements, their energy efficiency commitment and their commitment to their customers. With the recent wildfires in Southern California, many of us a not have noticed that the workers from Edison were also on the frontlines restoring power as quickly as they were allowed in the areas. She also outlined the requirements and the best strategy for a non-profit company to seek grants or matching funds from Edison for their cause. These same tips could be used when approaching any other major corporation as well. Her strategic public relations tips could be utilized by any business. Cathy is also very personally involved in a number of significant causes. She believes that it is important to "get your hands dirty", and get involved in doing more than just writing a check. Palmdale Mayor, Jim Ledford - Mayor Ledford was a great kick-off for the new year. His presentation was educational and topical for every business and person in the room. He emphasized some very key points including detailed examples relating to making and keeping your business successful, ie: keep your business message consistent and true; keep your associates up to speed to prevent surprises; utilize strategic planning meetings; and talking to your clients about what they want will keep you on track where you are going. He also introduced the group to two very key Partners for Palmdale programs where residents can make a difference for themselves and the community. If you missed this meeting, you can still find our about the Partners for Palmdale on the City Web Site at www.cityofpalmdale.org. Liz Goodgold - Liz was an energetic ball of great information. She entertained, educated and inspired many of the attendees in the group. Each month PROz brings a powerful speaker to the meeting, and Liz was a great topping for the year. Andrea Michaels, Extraordinary Events: this was a very educational and entertaining special event. Andrea not only showed some examples of a few her favorite events. She also gave examples how the same elaborate events could be fit into any budget. Her presentation covered many areas of special events, including new product introductions, motivating employees and catching and keeping the attention of your customer. She concluded her extraordinary presentation with her expression of gratitude to AV Proz, for the new clients and new business she received after her previous presentation at a AV Proz luncheon meeting. Changing Face of Radio: A detailed presentation of the history of radio and industry statistics were presented. The PowerPoint presentation was excellently designed and moved smoothly with the presentation. Alana Pratt was a breath of fresh air. Her enthusiasm is contagious. From her energetic presentation you can easily see how she achieved the results in her business. She was open and willing to share all her success secrets, including her bumps in the road and what made the difference in her moving past them. She consistently emphasized the point that the relationship "out there" in your business world, starts from within.
Passantino of Passantino and Andersen, LLC. - "Excellent
speaker. He really made it clear how doing your homework, in the way
of surveys, can not only ensure greater success, but can also save
your budget. Very timely and powerful information."
